HYDRAULIC HOSE – MEDIUM PRESSURE SINGLE WIRE

APPLICATION:

Similar to the double wire braid, high pressure hoses, except these hoses are suited to lower pressure, secondary hydraulic applications, e.g. oil return hoses from hydraulic machines not exerting great force. More common in automated production lines in industry.

Hose assemblies are very similar to high pressure hoses, except the fitting’s collar edges are not notched for quick identification between high and medium pressure.

Universal Rubber and Hose will purchase medium pressure hydraulic hoses and fittings, or have made complete hose assemblies, upon receiving a customer’s order. A sample from the customer is preferred. No stock of this range.

CONSTRUCTION:

Oil resistant, smooth, black inner tube, reinforced with one ply of steel braid. Smooth, black outer cover resistant to oil, UV and abrasion; all NBR special compounds. Manufactured to SAE 100 R1 specifications and duly marked such down the side of the hose.

Temperature range: – 40°C to +125°C
